Three Years of Delivery.

It has been a privilege to represent you these last three years, bringing your concerns and priorities to City Hall. This term of council, I advanced nearly 40 motions with an almost 90% pass rate. Below are some of the more significant ones — and my heartfelt thanks to Team Sydenham and the broader Kingston community for your support.

  • Over $1 million saved in policing costs for student events
  • $200,000 in food returned to local food banks yearly through a fines-for-food investment
  • Preserved the Napier Lawn Bowling property for family housing
  • Increased heritage enforcement protection
  • Added extra stop signs and traffic calming measures across the district
  • Landlord registry underway
  • Community bonds initiative underway to improve housing funding
  • Established regular participation in the City Nature Challenge
  • Student housing strategy under development
  • Emergency funding for winter supplies and water for the homeless
  • Launched the annual "Name the Snowplow" event
  • Increased heat mitigation measures and funded air conditioners for seniors with health conditions
  • Successful emergency motion to halt clear-cutting
  • Advocacy for grants to improve primary health care capacity
  • Advocated for and increased the number of family-sized units in new developments
